Veterans with 100% service-connected disability receive a full exemption from property taxes on their homestead. Veterans with partial disability receive a proportional exemption based on their disability percentage.

The exemption is proportional to the disability rating. Unremarried surviving spouses of qualifying veterans also retain the exemption.
