Property Tax

Veterans with service-connected disability receive a CPI-adjusted property tax exemption based on their disability rating: 60-79% = $17,700, 80-99% = $26,550, and 100% = $35,400 (FY2025-2026 amounts).
Amounts are adjusted annually for CPI. Unremarried surviving spouses of qualifying veterans retain the exemption. Application is filed with the county assessor's office with VA disability documentation.
Veteran Tax Exemption (All Veterans)
All honorably discharged veterans receive a $3,540 CPI-adjusted exemption off the assessed value of their vehicle or real property, with no disability requirement.
